    Dr. Macayla offers whole-person primary care that considers your physical, emotional, and mental well-being together. She provides everything from annual exams and chronic condition management to support for stress, sleep, and hormone health—using both conventional and integrative tools to meet your needs.

  • Is Dr. Macayla accepting new patients?

  • Do I need to be LGBTQ+ to be a patient?

    Not at all. Dr. Macayla welcomes all patients who are looking for inclusive, thoughtful, and relationship-centered care.

  • What does LGBTQ+ and trans-affirming care mean?

    It means you’ll be seen and supported as your full self—without judgment. Dr. Macayla is trained in gender-affirming care, including HRT management, inclusive annual exams, and sensitive support for gender-diverse health journeys.

  • Do you offer hormone replacement therapy (HRT)?

    Yes. Dr. Macayla offers HRT for gender-affirming care as well as menopausal support, tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.

  • Will I need to educate my doctor about trans issues?

    Nope. While every person’s experience is unique, Dr. Macayla has extensive experience working with trans and gender-diverse patients and is here to listen, not to learn at your expense.

    Most likely, yes—but it depends on the clinic location and billing setup. We’ll share more information as soon as we can.

  • How long are appointments?

    First visits are typically 45–60 minutes to ensure you have time to share your story. Follow-ups vary based on your care needs.
